Parents, you’re invited to kick off the 2026–2027 school year at John I. Smith K-8 Center’s Meet & Greet / Drop-In Day on Wednesday, August 12, 2026! Meet your child’s teachers, explore classrooms, drop off school supplies, and receive important information to help your student start the year strong.
Schedule:
- Kinder & 1st Grade: 9:00–9:30 A.M.
- Grades 2–5: 10:30–11:00 A.M.
- Grades 6–8: 12:00–12:30 P.M.
Students are encouraged to attend with their families, and teachers will be available during each assigned time slot. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for an amazing school year!
